The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater debuted its Holiday Lights Spectacular drive-through show on Wednesday night, which opens to the public Thursday and will continue through Jan. 2.
The 5,700-seat venue for the next few weeks will accommodate what developer Howard Saffan estimates to be as many as 50,000 cars. Visitors, who must stay in their vehicles, will spend about a half hour driving past and through displays totaling 2.5 million LED lights.
