Red Cross helping 4 after fire in Milford

MILFORD — The Red Cross is helping a family of four after a fire Monday at a home on Alden Place.

The Milford Fire Department reported they were fighting the blaze just after 2 p.m. in a Facebook post.

Photos showed gray smoke pouring from a first floor window of the two-story home. At one point, firefighters also appeared to deploy a ladder truck for access to the roof.

Milford fire officials reported the blaze was under control by 2:48 p.m.

The Red Cross said it was helping one family of two adults and two children after the fire.
