NWS: Morning rain to continue to early afternoon

The morning rain Sunday is expected to continue through early this afternoon throughout the state, said the National Weather Service.

The rain could be heavy at times in the coastal areas of Connecticut, and about a quarter and half of an inch of rain is possible throughout the state with wind speeds around 13 mph.

The NWS said that tonight, it’d be mostly cloudy, then it will start to gradually become clear with temperatures expected to be around 40 degrees.

Monday is expected to be sunny and breezy with highs in the low 60s and wind blowing 15 to 21 mph, according to the weather service.
