Wanted and sorely needed: More Connecticut State Troopers In an anticipation of an upcoming Connecticut State Trooper Trainee written exam - and declining numbers within the state police - join troopers for a recruitment and hiring process informational session. The session is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. March 6 at the Connecticut Police Academy, 285 Preston Ave., in Meriden.
