A woman, who was arrested after the bodies of five dogs were found in her former Fairfield home, has been charged by New Canaan police after a domestic dispute. Heidi Lueders, of Marshall Ridge Road, was charged with second-degree threatening, third-degree assault and breach of peace. Police went to the home around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a domestic violence incident between Lueders and another occupant of the residence. “A subsequent investigation determined Lueders was in violation of the charged and taken into custody,” according to the police report. “As this matter is domestic in nature no further information will be provided.
