MILFORD — A suspect in two West Haven robberies rejected a plea deal Wednesday that would have sent him to prison for at least 10 years. Dakari Harper, 20, has been in jail since Dec. 21, 2017, when he was charged with pushing a Hamden man to the ground and robbing him on Alling Street Oct. 11, 2017 — but then giving the victim his belongings back after the man refused to give up the PIN code to his debit card. A month after his first arrest, West Haven cops obtained an arrest warrant charging Harper with a home invasion robbery that had occurred the same night on Alling Street.
