Parts of Connecticut are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 a.m. Wednesday. Northern Fairfield County and all of Litchfield and Hartford counties are under the advisory. The highest amounts of snow - between 3 and 6 inches - are expected in the higher terrain of northwest Connecticut. For days, we’ve heard about the bitter temperatures, snow and wintry mix coming. Now, the National Weather Service has fine-tuned its forecast to tells us when we can expect the worst of the winter weather.
