BRIDGEPORT - A local woman was in custody after police said she left her two young children home alone. Namecca Divine, 20, of Lenox Avenue, was charged with two counts of risk of injury to children. She was being held in lieu of $10,000 bond. Early Monday morning police said they received a complaint of children crying and alone in a Lenox Street apartment. When officers arrived at the apartment house, police said they could hear the children crying and entered the apartment through an open window. Inside, police said officers found the two 1-year-old twins in separate cribs, an electric space heater between the cribs.
