BRIDGEPORT — City police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday morning, officials confirmed. Reports indicate the robbery happened around 8 a.m. Police spokesman Terron Jones said two or three suspects were involved in an armed robbery at the AutoZone on North Avenue. Records show there is an AutoZone shop at 300 North Ave. “The fled in a vehicle,” Jones said. “PD is investigating. No further information at this time.”
