MILFORD — City police are looking for a suspect they say is responsible for a robbery at a local gas station earlier this week. Around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, Milford police responded to a burglary alarm at the Mobil Gas Station at 300 Bridgeport Ave. “Officer arrived and found the front door glass had been ripped off and was lying on the ground outside the building,” police said. “Video surveillance footage showed the suspect quickly ran into the store carrying a large plastic garbage can and loaded it with cigarettes from behind the counter.” The suspect also took money from the cash register being running out of the store, police said.
