MILFORD — A Bridgeport woman was charged by city police on Wednesday after an officer had to break a window on her vehicle when she was found slumped over the steering wheel. Jennifer Spezzano, 39, of Westfield Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Milford police spotted a suspicious vehicle parked and running on Old Field Road near Sea Flower Road. When officers approached the vehicle, they found a woman — later identified as Spezzano — slumped over the steering wheel. “The officer attempted to wake Spezzano, who appeared to be ineffectively breathing, but could not,” police said.
