A GPS device - hidden in a box - allowed police to track two men who robbed a cell phone store in Vermon Friday night. The Journal Inquirer reported the two made off with more than $25,000 worth of electronic devices and unwittingly stole a GPS tracking device. The GPS unit was hidden inside a cell phone box in the store’s safe. Police said when emptied the contents of safe into a bag, they didn’t know they were they were about to be tracked by cops. The JI reported the two men - Shane Sturgeon, 31, of Coventry and Shakiem Anthony Dessasure, 19, of Chicopee, Mass. - gave police a roadmap to their location.
