Jimmy Tickey, DeLauro’s longtime campaign manager, will oversee business community outreach and economic development initiatives on behalf of Bysiewicz, the incoming lieutenant governor. Monday. He was one of five appointment announced by Bysiewicz Monday. The others are Juliemar Ortiz, a former New Haven Register reporter as her press secretary; Adam Joseph as her chief of staff; Cherie Phoenix-Sharpe as her general counsel and Samuel Carmody as senior advisor for legislative affairs.
