The center-hall colonial at 427 Taconic Road was surely a labor of love to create. The seller of the property designed and custom-built the home for his own family, and is now prepared to pass it along to its next residents. He’s listed it for sale with Blake Delany of Houlihan Lawrence. The asking price is $3.35 million. “When I first saw 427 Taconic, I was drawn to the property immediately, because [it] sits on top of a ridge, not in a valley. So the land is bright, airy, with spectacular sunsets,” the seller said. “The open, airy, big-sky feel outside is brought inside and is an experience day or night,” the homeowner explained the skylight positioned above the foyer and main staircase.
