FAIRFIELD — A vehicle struck the Post Plaza Laundromat at 222 Post Road Sunday afternoon, according to Fairfield police. “There was minor damage to the vehicle and the vehicle never penetrated the building,” Lieutenant Robert Kalamaras said in a statement. “The vehicle was being operated by an elderly female who was not injured.” The collision took place at approximately 5 p.m., according to Kalamaras.
