MILFORD - A 52-year-old Milford man was arrested twice on the same night for violating a protective order, police said. According to Officer Joseph Dempsey, police responded to an East Broadway apartment around 8 p.m. Thursday on a report of a possible domestic incident. “The investigation led to the arrest of Vincent Lopez who is accused of striking a female inside the apartment with several objects. Further investigation showed a protective order to be in place protecting the female from being assault by Lopez,” Dempsey said in a release. Lopez was then arrested on a promise to appear in court and given a full no-contact protective order to stay away from the female. At around 2 a.m.
