About 25 kids an hour treated for bicycling injuries

Summer is here, which means many schools are done for the year and the weather is finally staying warm. It also means that kids will be spending more time outside, running around, making trouble and, of course, riding bikes. But tooling around the neighborhood on a bicycle does care some safety risks. A new study found that than 2.2 million children were treated in U.S. emergency departments for bicycle-related injuries over a ten-year period.
