MILFORD — A pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Milford on Sunday night. The vehicle was traveling north on Pond Point Avenue from the area of Welchs Point Road when it struck a pedestrian was traveling west across Pond Point Avenue near Pauline Street, according to a statement from Milford Police released on Monday morning. The person was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.
