The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says there will be high ozone levels along the Connecticut shoreline Friday and Saturday. The high level, it says, creates unhealty risks for sensitive groups such as children, the elderly and people with asthma. “Connecticut’s air quality is heavily impacted by pollution coming from outside our state, we continue to urge the EPA to take action to protect the air quality of all states,” Commissioner Rob Klee said in a statement.
