BRIDGEPORT - A local man was arrested after police said he robbed another man at gunpoint during a transaction for a cell phone. Nazarie “El Zapo” Jackson, 19, of Taft Avenue, was charged Monday with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of $75,000 bond. Police said Jackson advertised on Facebook that he had an iPhone for sale for $250. They said the victim subsequently arranged to meet Jackson on Anson Street and purchase the phone. But when the victim got to the location, police said Jackson pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of $350.
