After one more cool day, warm temperatures will give us a taste of summer for the rest of the week. On Monday, the high temperature is expected to be in the low 50s, about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year. But that will soon change. “Tuesday will be dry as high pressure continues to build into the region,” the National Weather Service says. “Westerly flow will become southwesterly during the day, allowing heights and temperatures aloft to rise. This will translate to warm surface temperatures, giving us the first taste of late spring and early summer for the week.” Temperatures are expected to soar into the 80s on Wednesday and Thursday in interior Connecticut.
