BRIDGEPORT — A city employee who has been part of Mayor Joe Ganim’s gubernatorial campaign posse is being promoted with a $10,533 raise. Danny Pizarro, who Ganim and more recently Democratic Town Chairman Mario Testa have taken under their respective wings, has been working in the public facilities department overseeing litter patrol on highway on and off ramps. Pizzaro has also been a chauffeur and leg man for Testa in the chairman’s efforts to raise support and money for Ganim’s bid for governor.
