TRUMBULL — Trumbull High School brought home a top honor at the 21st Penn Model Congress competition, a first for the team which formed only four years ago. Trumbull’s Model Congress team has been attending the University of Pennsylvania Model Congress competition since spring 2015. But this year, competing against more than 700 students from around the country, the team was honored with the “Best Small Delegation Award,” along with several individual awards for students. The award is for school groups of fewer than 18 students. “It was honestly amazing. I've never been more proud of a group of students,” said Katie Boland, the team’s adviser and a social studies teacher at Trumbull High.
