Spring may have officially begun but the winter may not be done with Connecticut just yet. The National Weather Service is calling for possible snow showers throughout the state from Sunday night into Monday morning. A hazardous weather warning has been issued for Fairfield, New Haven, New London and Middlesex counties. A quick low pressure system will likely bring a light accumulating snowfall to the region overnight Sunday, the NWS said. The system will bring with it a cold front that will lead to noticeably cooler weather over the region from Sunday into Monday, according to the forecast. The NWS forecasts that the brunt of the storm will strike around 2 a.m. Monday morning, with approximately 1.
