BRIDGEPORT — No injuries were reported after a car hit a Bridgeport school bus Tuesday afternoon, officials said. Police and fire units responded to the area of Beardsley Park Terrace and East Main Street for a reported hit-and-run around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday. Medics were also called to the scene as a precaution. “No injuries to children on board (the bus),” police spokesman Av Harris said. Police did not immediately have a description of the responsible vehicle, Harris said.
