MILFORD — Police are seeking information about a man who they described as suspicious and looking to shovel driveways in Milford. The department was notified on Feb. 18 of a man who was looking to shovel driveways on Platt Street, but passed several unshoveled homes to contact one specific house, according to a statement from police. Police received another complaint on Feb. 21 that the same man was on Hawley Avenue on Feb. 15 and told a homeowner that he came to the residence because he had an appointment to clean air ducts. The homeowner told the man that there was no appointment to clean air ducts, and the man sat in his white, unmarked van for about 10 minutes until another resident came home, police said.
