MILFORD — Election Day is more than eight months away, and already there’s a race shaping up in the city’s 118th House district. Kim Rose, the Democrat who has represented the West Side district since 2010, has announced that she’ll seek a fifth term in November. Rose’s Republican opponent is Connie Jagodzinski, who announced on Facebook on Jan. 12 that she’ll also run for the 118th state House seat. Jagodzinski is a newcomer of sorts, although her husband, Thomas, is a former member of the Board of Education, and she’d helped out with campaigns over the years. In the fall of 2017, Rose sought the position of Milford city clerk and nearly won that race against incumbent Republican Joanne Rohrig.
