BRIDGEPORT — The city school system will host a celebration of Black History from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 in City Hall Council Chambers, 45 Lyon Terrace. The event is free and open to the public. Featured will be the district’s performing and visual arts and the department of literacy. Guest host will be George Mintz, president of the Greater Bridgeport NAACP. Schools Superintendent Aresta Johnson will also participate.
