BRIDGEPORT — Police units are on scene in the city investigating a shooting Tuesday, according to dispatch reports. Around 5:40 p.m., an officer called in about eight shots being fired in the area of the 800 block of Palisade Avenue. Officers responded to the area and found a person down on Price Street and requested medics, dispatch reports indicated. One officer with the victim said he was still breathing but asked that medics be stepped up.
