Walgreens is pulling about 74,000 units of its Well at Walgreens brand pain and itch relief cream because the packaging is not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The cream contains lidocaine, posing a risk of poisoning to young children. There have been no injuries or incidents from the cream, which was sold in an orange package with a purple stripe. The packaging contains the UPC bar code 3 11917 18962 8 on the back. The product was sold in Walgreens stores nationwide and online at www.walgreens.com. Consumers should place the recalled cream out of the reach of children and return it to Walgreens for a full refund. Call 866-323-0107 or visit www.natureplex.
