DERBY — At 6 p.m. Feb. 22, Griffin Hospital, 130 Division St. will host free Narcan and opioids training in its meditation learning rooms. During the program, presented by the Naugatuck Valley Overdose Prevention and Education (N.O.P.E.) Campaign, participants will learn how to identify an overdose, how to administer narcan, and other important information. Participants should bring an insurance or prescription card for the mobile pharmacist. Narcan kits are also available for those uninsured.
