TRUMBULL — With the holiday season approaching quickly, Trumbull police issued a warning for its residents that works as a universal message: keep an eye on your package deliveries. If you can’t be home when they delivery is expected, use a different delivery destination — such as your neighbor, family member or friend’s house if they will be home. Or, if you can’t have someone accept the delivery for you, have it shipped to your office or workplace. Another step you can take to ensure your package is safely delivered is to ask the courier to hold the package at the facility for you to pick up at another time. You can also request that your package has the requirement of a signature for the delivery.
