Mechanical problems has delayed a Shore Line East train indefinitely on Monday morning. The westbound train is Number 1633 a through express train that makes all Shoreline East stops. It also continues on to West Haven, Bridgeport, and Stamford Metro-North stations. The railroad made the announcement that shortly before 7 a.m. The train was scheduled to leave Old Saybrook at 6:15 a.m. and arrive in Stamford at 8:03 a.m.
