BRIDGEPORT — Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, 1875 Noble Ave., Bridgeport, will host a teen volunteering open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7. Visit the zoo to learn about seasonal as well as year-long programs that will inspire and motivate teens looking for hands-on zoo experience. Programs include the zoo’s Explorers Post, Conservation Discovery Corps, and 4-H Club. Hear from program leaders and participants. The open house will be held in the Hanson Building, just outside the zoo entrance gates. For details, call the zoo at 203-394-6565.
