ANSONIA — Beginning Friday, the city of Ansonia will have a three-month parking ban around the clock on city streets and highways in case of snow. The ban will run from Dec. 1 to March 31, 2018. The purpose of the ban, police said, is to allow snow removal and ice as efficiently as possible from all streets and highways in the city — with a few exceptions. This winter, Ansonia police said vehicles are allowed to park on the odd-numbered side of municipal streets throughout the time of the ban. This exception does not apply to city streets that are clearly labeled with no parking signage.
