WESTPORT - Three people have been arrested after allegedly stealing items from a Westport pharmacy and leading police on a wrong-way chase on I-95. Westport police say the incident began around 2 a.m. Saturday when officers were dispatched to a report of a larceny from a local pharmacy. A description of the two male and one female suspects and their vehicle were provided to officers on patrol. “Minutes earlier, an officer had observed a van matching that description exit the pharmacy parking lot. Another officer spotted the vehicle on Riverside Avenue in the area of Lincoln Street and attempted to stop the vehicle,” Westport police said in a release late Monday.
