Bridgeport’s Warren Harding High flooded, students sent home

BRIDGEPORT—Warren Harding High School closed Tuesday due to a plumbing issue. “Unfortunately, there was a leak on the second floor that affected some classrooms,” said spokesman and assistant superintendent John DiDonato. Students were sent home and teachers moved out of the flooded areas. City officials began to react to the problem by 7:45 a.m., when student resource police officers helped begin to shut the school down, according to police dispatch reports.
